Recently in prayer the Lord has taught me the importance of prayer and fasting.
In prayer I asked that God would restore my ability and passion to play the piano. After much time and no practise I lost the ability to work on the great gift God had given me. When asked to play again I was rusty and prayed that God would restore me again and heal the wounded spirit I had regarding music. Last night after printing 100 songs God restored my ear and ability to transpose my music. I was able to hear and work on music like I'd done when I first started to play. Praise be to God that His grace and mercy shines through on His timing not ours. He knew that if I was to be restored, fixed, and made new that I would still not use the gift but this time I will and must. (8/19/09)
Another prayer has been answered... After a week of fasting and much prayer God has given me direction and answers. As a young woman who has a passion to see and watch lives changed I have prayed for a direction to be able to walk fulling into a new realm with God. Recently He has given me a new refreshing of my burden for souls and opened my eyes to the importance of it. He's humbled me and taught me that I must humble myself daily. I will not share with you much details as it would be unfair of me to share this with the world before sharing the rest with my own Pastor. This I will say though.. praise be to my Lord who answers prayers and knows the plan for my life. He is the door and the light of my way and I must trust and obey that He will lead the way! (8/18/09)
Revelation through the Word has always been my way of understanding what God is asking of me. I hear His voice often but don't think it is safe to run your life by a voice alone. God always confirms His ways through the Word and that is what He did for me. As I wrote in my previous blog God gave me answers to a prayer asked over three years ago. Why did you give me this scripture? Now I know and am more than grateful that my Lord knows the hour and time in which He will reveal. (8/17/09)
As you can see I have had one full week of revelation. From the understanding of the Word on Monday, to receiving my direction on Tuesday, and a restoration on Wednesday. Praise be to God that no matter what the situation no matter what the trial or the storms around us.... my God is so much bigger!
This journey of life is to be lived not endured. The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched they must be felt with the heart. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold. Helen Keller

Stepping Forward...
Lately my life has been full of questions and direction. The Word tells us that it is a lamp unto our feet and a guide unto the ways of Christ. Daily we walk in an upward stride, striving to become just a little bit closer to the one and only King of Kings.
The other day in Sunday School our Pre-Teen class spoke about the power of prayer and how when we pray over someone it is not the object that heals but the power of Christ. After teaching on this I had the students pass around a towel that was new and I had each student dip their finger with oil and pray in Jesus Name(over the towel). By our faith we are healed is what the Bible says!!! Each student said in Jesus name covering each inch of that towel with the power of prayer. We than gave it to our Pastor who brought it to a man who was in the ICU and in the state of near death. One of the students on Sunday (8/16/09) just the following Sunday stated that the man was currently sitting up in his bed and was out of the ICU. PRAISE THE HOLY LORD! PRAYER WORKS AND MIRACLES ARE NOT JUST FOR THE DAYS OF THE BIBLE!
In this experience I've realized the true importance and child like faith of serving God. The students in my Sunday School class have taught me so much. They have proven to me the importance of faith and the importance of humility. It is true that when we walk with Christ we often forget what it means to believe that our God is able to heal the sick, blind, and broken. We so often want to see miracles but we are not willing to step out and test the waters.
I often think about how my faith was limited to people filled with the Holy Ghost how I just wanted to see people get filled and than it was like they would get baptized and than walk with Christ. Almost as if my faith was so small that I limited God and just how powerful He is. I've realized that I want to see great earth shaking things. I want to experience God's hand move in a mighty way and direction. I want to see people healed from cancer, illness, blindness, and so much more.
In North America we have became victims of this selfish mentality. As if we will hold on to this powerful message and only display it when we want to turn on the light switch of Christ. The people in the upper room didn't decided that at a certain time at a certain day that they would be filled with the Holy Ghost no they waited on the Lord they seeked after His face. His Word says when you seek me you shall find me.
Jesus changed my life yesterday he allowed me to realize that I'm nothing without Him and with Him the power lives. I can either live a selfish lifestyle knowing that my God is able to part the red seas or I can live a lifestyle of giving and receive the great promise of a miracle walking life. I'm ready to watch my God move and I'm not going to allow it to drift. I don't need a revival service to pump up my trust, faith, and belief in God I'm going to live it, walk it, and trust it.
My God is going to move and He's going to give direction. I'm ready to watch my God show me where I need to bring His Word! I'm ready to put on my combat boots and get to work... I'm ready to fulfil His GREAT COMMISSION!

So soon to come will be updates and information. I will keep you all up to date with information. So much has happened that I need to write about and I will do that in my next blog.
Keep on keeping on. I apologize to those who have emailed me to hear more I haven't. The great outdoors has kept me indoors with much to do. Sending much of my love your way!

Create in me a clean heart...
Walking with Christ has given me the understanding of what it means to open ones heart. It is the washing of our hearts that will clean our mouths too. As the Word states what lies in the heart will come out of the mouth. So the act of cleaning our hearts is not just for us to be able to love, but for us to also be able to speak of good things.
A clean heart is not like a washing of something, but pure, white as snow, gentle as of dove, and pure as a virgin symbol. When you look at this concept I believe it is easy to really know what we hold in our hands. God has given us examples through out the Bible to show and prove to use what he really expects of his bride. The white dress has became a must when truly not meaning anything. We must pray daily for Him to make our hearts clean and to cover us with his ever so cleansing blood.
The symbol of the purity of white as snow. When you are pure of things there is nothing in which can defial your temple there is nothing that can make you sway from the truth in which you live and breathe. It is in Christ that you realize that God wants us to be pure that in which will prove of our clean hearts.
As gentle as a dove. If we believe that something so clean as a dove can be the symbolizim of the spirit of Christ than we can come to realize that we walk in a clean place of peace. Our God is a God of peace He is the King of trust, faith, hope, and life. When you think of the importance of walking with a clean heart you realize how truly awesome it is to have a God that wants us to live a guilt free life.
So I say.....
Create in me a clean heart Oh Lord and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from they presense and cast not they Holy Spirit from me.
God I want to be able to quote that every morning asking to walk with you in a PURE way of life.

New Journey...
I am excited and filled with joy to share with you my great revelation. In the life of a young woman battling the struggle of purpose I have came to realize my true purpose. People do not know me in fact those of you who do know me would say that I am not a person who likes the spot light nor do I feel comfortable in the middle of a fire.
After some amazing prayer and devotional time with Jesus I’ve taken some self examinations of my walk with Christ. Reading through over two years of blogging I've came to see what I've been writing about was mostly about faith and trust. I was told by an amazing man of God that it is those who talk about something that are usually dealing with the issue. I am more than guilty of that. When evaluating myself I find an extremely insecure young woman who is overly afraid of failure.
As I write you today I find myself filled with confidence in the Christ I serve. In the word it says "cast not away your confidence"... it is not speaking of the confidence in yourself, but more so in the man/woman that God is molding you to be. We are a finished work as the Word declares but since we die daily it means we must come back up again and the only person who can do that is Christ.
My spirit is lifted and my heart filled with hope. I know and believe that in Christ all things are possible, but sometimes it takes more than a belief in what God will do it takes a running pull start of our own driven lives. Sometimes we just need to work through and learn how to get our hands dirty.
If we are to cast not away our confidence in what God will do than that means we must start to live a life that continually tells us that it will be okay. God does not give us the spirit of fear so that means that if He says child go, stay, preach, teach, act that means he will follow through with His end we must follow through with ours. If we have confidence in Christ that means we have confidence in what He will do through us.
So cast not away your confidence sisters and brothers it is true that somethings are hard to do, but He always comes through!

My heart is in your palm...
In Psalms we find this:
1The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
I often speak of the heart and my heart, but is it the heart or the true place of the heart that matters. I believe that in every person there is something in there heart. We all see it on their face in their reactions to people. My shyness has been misunderstood for snobbery and my timidness as being abused. As creatures of Christ we have found ourselves in the battle of observations and in that comes our heart.
Fear of love I've written before and that of being loved. I believe that the condition of our heart is what allows us to love and be loved. As I read this scripture I was forced to realize that the eyes are not just the window of our soul, our hands are too.
I told someone once that they couldn't love me because their actions spoke louder than the words they spoke. I believe that the work of our hands are what connects us to the love we show to others. For example if you witness a elderly person walking across the street and they are having a hard time... Do you give them a hand or walk away? Love for people is an outward reaction to an inward action. Like we have a domino's affect in our body. We do though... it is a completeness that I believe Jesus speaks to us about. Let me explain...
We are told to worship our Lord with open hearts of adoration. A natural reaction to lift our hands in admiration of our King. Our hands are as the windows to our soul we reach towards the heavens and bow before the throne. God is tell us that we are doing and act that is from a reaction within. If this act is done from what we feel our hearts are made clean and pure. However, if we just do it because we know we should our actions are not from a reaction from within.
What am I trying to say you may ask?-- I'm saying that it is the reaction of our heart that proves in the labor of our hands. Hence the reason we are called to be servants of the Lord. A servant is a person who puts their hands to work in a way to please those he/she serves. It isn't about the work that is being done, but the place in which it came from.
If we call ourselves servants of God than we know that everything we do for God we do in a reaction to the way our hearts feel. Fear hinders our reaction, lack of faith hinders our reaction, jealousy hinders our reaction, all of these things come to an inward battle that cause others to know our heart.
Place your hearts out in your palms. It is that sacrifice that proves you are a true servant of Christ! His love was proven at Calvary which tells me that it's the act of love that makes our true hearts transparent.

Dreamers arise...
Genesis 37:17- 20 says "And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan. And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams."
Joseph a dreamer and worshiper of God he walked through life looking at each day as an opportunity to work towards having his dreams come true. Nothing but the power of Christ can prepare us for the work that is about to come. However, with Christ we will see prophesy transpire and dreams that have been passed on through generations come true. I ask as we enter into 2009 have you stopped dreaming?
When I was a little girl I could make a story book of two pictures into a long novel of a prince saving his princess. Now I'm not going to talk about the act of prince charming and love stories. I'm going to talking about the act of taking something so small and making it into something so big. Dreamers are a threat as they can see through the grim into a situation that brings light. They fight and don't give up on things they want to see happen.
God has given us the opportunity to make something so dull into something so beautiful and promising. I give you this challenge as we walk into 2009... dream. Start to place hope in the unsaved souls that walk around you. Dream dreams of 100,000 soul rivals in your city, Sunday school classes rooms bigger than college lecture halls, youth services every month with thousands of young souls saved at the alter, elderly people from nursing homes saved at the call of their savors name, the lame walking up in numbers unexplainable, sick being healed with decreasing numbers of cases in the hospital, whole cities coming to God, and revival taking over every country in the world. No one ever said that making dreams kept you down and hopeless. I look at Joesph a man who could have stopped dreaming of bigger things, but refused too. A dreamer can see promise and look at bad situations with a smile. SOME DAY! SOME DAY! I'll walk the streets of glory... is that not dreaming. Sure we are promised that, but we can't even imagine the beauty of Heaven. So why I ask can you dream of a place like heaven but can't dream of the work we've been called to do.
I heard this preached on a DVD the other night and the preacher said... Don't stop dreaming because you don't see it come to pass. Pass your dreams on to the next generation in hopes they may see it. A man doesn't start a church in hopes for it to die. No a man starts a church in hopes that his heart will transpire and God's work will be done. PASS ON YOUR DREAMS! Let them out live you!
I believe that in 2009 we are going to see dreams transpire and visions find life. I see the church looking at higher grounds of power. In this last night of 2008 I ask, are you going to stand up tonight and pray "God forgive me for forgetting about my dreams. Give me a dreamers heart that makes a journey for you. Let these shoes walk land that has never been walked. Let my hands do work that causes them to blister. Let my lips speak words only you can utter to the nations. Let my heart cry out with tears of joy, peace, and revelation. Let my work be done with an upward glance. I'm ready to take the road less traveled... I'm ready to break the bondage that keeps my dreams from happening"!
Don't let the dreamer be killed. Let him live! Live a dreamer, die a dreamer and let your dream live FOREVER!

True passion...
As I watched the hands raise on the right side of me my eyes filled with tears. The true desire for God's glory to be scene filled the room with great intensity and grace. I wondered if truly my idea of worship is a passion or a desire.
I have been haunted with fears that I will be a part of the generation that praises and doesn't pray. Can we witness to people with hearts full of acts? I wonder often if we can work within our hearts to find where our true passion lives.
Looking back at August Youth Core I find my heart being tested. I have never seen the worship of young men being lifted up like I did that first night of prayer. Young women sat around me with few really worshiping God. Hands of young men praising the Lord they served and young women truly not happy.
I pray that someday I will see a generation of worshipping, prayer warriors. I worry that I am part of the generation who know not how to pray. I myself challenge to work through my crazy life to pray and learn to pray. I worry I will not be able to pray to the Lord I can praise, but remind myself that only I can do work in myself and God can do the work in others.
My reason for finishing this blog is to remind myself the need of prayer and praise. Where is my true passion, it is in the work of Christ. I was inspired by the young men in the pews at Youth Core. They had proved me wrong and even though I was hurt by the young girls lack of praise I realize that I am only responsible for two things....
1. Being an example and good role model
and
2. Letting God work in me
I do not claim to be perfect there is a lot of things wrong with myself, but one thing I know. My true passion is in a move of God with Christ centered prayer. Not raising our hands in hopes of getting something, but knee bending prayer that delivers a desire and passion for others.
I ask and remind myself... don't get frustrated with the uncontrollable. I was told in class once that... "someone can only make you feel the way you allow them to make you feel". YOU are in control of the reaction you have.
Walk forward with the understanding that the only one who you have control over is yourself and if you have given that control to God well your will is still completely in your power. Don't look across the horizon look up to the brightest light of all!

Reaching above...
I am a girl with unreachable aspirations and goals. One might say they are unrealistic, but in Christ I don’t believe that to be true. It is said that you raise the bar high so that you can reach new heights; well I have put the bar high so I can see new horizons. As an athlete I strived to set new records and goals, but in Christ I desire to do much more.
I want to impact the lives of young people everywhere from East to West and North to South. I want to teach them of God’s great mercy and grace of His love and guiding hand. My passion is to someday impact the younger generation to become the men and women of Christ that we speak of in the Bible. I want to watch the glow in a young kid’s life as they grab a hold of something worth grabbing a hold of.
From a beginner to a youth I will not stop loving the next generation. I have heard enough people give up on them and refuse to do that. Now that I’m filled with the Holy Ghost I will live the rest of my life walking with Christ to bring some hope. If I can impact one life with the promise of the Holy Ghost my heart will be glad, but I will not stop there.
My journey doesn’t end here I believe it has just begun. With God’s will I plan to use my calling to help those in need. I refuse to give up on soul’s period. No matter what age, nationality, or gender my complete desire is to see those around me saved. If it shall never come to pass that I will see people I love dearly saved I refuse to believe that they won’t be. God’s mercy on my life has been too great for me to not believe He is able to do exceedingly.
My heart goes out for those who are lost and without hope however there is a whole generation that is in our churches today that are just as lost. As much as I love to watch souls be won my greatest aspiration is to watch those who have been raised in the church grab onto Jesus for themselves. So often young people in the church have been living completely for their parents and don’t truly know what it is that they are doing. Sometimes we forget that those in the church are not always as strong in the Lord as they should be.
I believe that there is a reason that God spoke of the church in the Bible. We forget that even though we know the truth we sometimes forget what we truly need to do. I hope to someday be able to look into the church and see strong youth with great aspirations to bring souls into the Kingdom. Not because they want to be known for winning souls, but because they want to see people saved.
In the short time I’ve been in the church I’ve seen a lot, but if there is one thing I know it is that we are in a great need for STRONG apostolic men and women. There are many places around the world that are in great need of a shepherd and someone to bring the Truth to them.
My heart hurts to know of the many young men who have been called to the field and refuse to get ready. As we know that it is God’s timing that they will go on, however, so often they refuse the call. Priorities seem to be confused when it comes to God’s work and I hope to someday see more of the young men stand on the call that has been given to them. As well as a new strength in the young women to be everything they are called to do. Sometimes we forget that it isn’t just the call of the man that brings blessings to the area, but the completeness of the team that God has made.
Now that you know my greats aspirations and desires I pray that you pray with me to see all this come to pass. Like I said at the beginning some may say this is unrealistic, but nothing is unrealistic in Christ. For I can do all things in Christ, His word doesn’t lie. It is because of the desires of John the Baptist, Paul, Peter, and many more men that we can read of with great aspirations that we know this to be true. The Book hasn’t ended yet the church is still alive, but we must become the church of great power, with a promise and gift to the nations. A church with more than just a secret, but with a great passion to SPREAD THE GOSPEL!

Being Leah...
What I’m about to share with you is probably the most impacting revelation I’ve ever received in the Word. The impact on my life is so great that it has taken me almost a month to write it all down. I shared it with the youth and was told to keep my notes sadly enough I didn’t take notes. So hear it goes!
Many people are impacted by one of the greatest love stories ever written. This story is one that I’ve always thought was so beautiful and do even more so now. The story of Rachel and Jacob is one that we all know and love. People speak of the story every time they talk about being wanted and desired. Well one night after praying about my life’s confusion I was awaken by a voice that said “Being like Leah”.
I know you’re thinking she is going crazy, but I’m completely truthful when I say the voice said “being like Leah”. Now I’m telling you this so you understand the depth of this revelation. When I was praying that night I was filled with great heart ache. I have had some extremely heart breaking situations in the church with guys and felt like nothing in that department could ever go right. I felt like how could I ever find a man in the church if none of the godly men want godly women and I’m serious. You can quote me on saying this when I say “I have not met one single man in the church so far that hasn’t made me feel like less a woman because I want to live completely holy unto God”. I would love for someone to prove me wrong and if you find him all the power to you.
In Genesis 29:17 it says Leah was tender eyed; but Rachel was beautiful and well favoured. When I read this I thought God why would you compare me to Leah. She was nothing special not beautiful, not wanted she was basically given to Jacob because she was the oldest he didn’t love her or want her.
As I started to get more frustrated I heard the voice again “being like Leah”. I remember my eyes filling with tears as I thought God I can’t take being unwanted, not looked upon with value, or even feeling love. As I sat there I found myself growing with strength and couldn’t explain it. So I dug deeper into the Word.
The word tender is translated to mean soft, timid, and meek and eye is translated to mean showing mental and spiritual qualities. So as I took in these words I thought what an honor she was described to be a woman of a kind heart and showing knowledge of spiritual qualities. She was not described as being just a woman of intense great beauty, but a woman who was described as being an inward beauty. She was never described as being ugly, but being just a natural beauty.
As I breathed that all in I thought God what are you trying to tell me. Leah may have been spiritually complete, but she still must have questioned herself daily because she was “Second Best”. Those words I know have gone through the average girls head more than once. As a woman of Christ I stand firm on knowing I will not be second best or treated less a woman because of a man’s foolish mistakes. I know I’m stubborn, but I’m a working progress.
As I read more into the scriptures of Leah I realized that because of her dedication to Christ and her pure heart God gave her favor. She was more than a wife and mother, but a Godly example in the Bible that we so often forget to speak of. Sure she made mistakes it says that she even wanted favor from her husband. As we read into this story we realize that she was a woman who had some point in the Word. She was not just the unwanted wife, but God had a plan for her and that was proven by the ministries of her sons.
So often we as women and even men forget that God has a point and place for us. We forget that we are not just forgotten second best statues that are molded into the mold of robot like figures. God has called each one of us to fulfill the call on our lives. He has made us the women and men that we are to become. The story of Leah shows us that we have a purpose as women in Christ. Sure it is important for us to be wives and mothers don’t get me wrong I can’t wait for the day to be both. However, I know my call doesn’t end there. We are not just called to be fruitful and multiply to take all our knowledge and sit on it.
We are called to be woman like Ester who stood up to her husband for her people knowing that her boldness in Christ could cause her, her life. How she stood as a woman of godly example through the beauty regiments and pampering, standing firm as she went before the King with only her bare essentials and inward beauty.
Sometimes we forget about Ruth who stood next to her mother-in-law when she could have just left. But instead she was blessed greatly because of her dedication and loyalty. She was blessed even though they struggled and God gave her favor because she showed up.
I believe all in all that God wanted me to see this. In Proverbs 31:26 it speaks of the woman of wisdom and kindness something that speaks greatly of who Leah really was. It says in 31:30 that beauty is vain, but a woman who fears God shall be praised.
We so often as women in the church want to be looked at as beautiful and wanted. We want everyone to find favour in us and what we’ve done, as if that adds up to anything when we get to heaven. As women and men of Christ I believe we must begin to place God first and centered in our lives. Through all this God has proven to me that sometimes we can be so carnal and not even know it.
Through all of this I have learned so much about women in the Bible. I’ve found something in myself I never knew I had. I’ve found a strength that I will share with every female I can and explain to them that they never need to feel 'second best'. We are said to be virtuous and our value is far above rubies if a man can’t see your value than it makes him stupid. Be woman of great courage and strength strive after completion in Christ because that is all you can ever get.
I have come up with one conclusion to my madness. God wants to give me that man that will complete me. My value of godly character matters and I should never second guess that. I am never going to be second choose because God has told me I am important to Him. If I allow God to complete me He will supply that man and he will respect me, take care of me, protect me, and honor me like a woman should be. No more of this fleshly connections that last only a couple years God wants forever and that is what He’ll give. Sometimes it takes us to be awakened to realize that.
I want every apostolic woman/girl to know you are valuable and you must stand firm on what your godliness means. Your value is priceless and never let someone take that away from you. As for every apostolic man/boy I want you to know that you are valuable as well and your work for Christ matters greatly. You should never allow someone else to devalue who you are in Him or allow you to sway away from godliness.
We are called to spread the gospel and it doesn’t just say only the male species can do so. It says ALL shall spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Together we can make a stand in this world, but if godly people quite seeking after godliness it will soon be a hard thing to find.
Stand firm on your rock that gets you through the storm. Stand firm on that rock that shows you value. I refuse to allow myself to be anything less than Leah. If my day comes that I am chosen than I will not be second best I will be first because I’ve stood strong on the rock that has gotten me this far. In Christ everything is possible and finding that completion in Him makes your other half fit just right!

Update...
Hello Everyone! I just thought since it has been a month and a half since I've written I must update you. God is working greatly in our church. His blessings are being poured out and His work is never done. Trials have came to my life, but I count my blessings daily. With trials comes strength and God knows I'm going to be one powerful girl when all this is over. Powerful in Him! Anyway I wanted to say that we have finally received an offer on our church and we have been given promise to the other church. We are waiting for all formal things to go through, but November will come quick enough. PRAISE THE LORD!
I have to say that God has given me more than I've ever asked for in Him. Life is good, but a daily walking struggle. However, He promised me if I was to not go into education He'd supply that desire to help children. HURRAY! I'm teaching Sunday School what a blessing. I know that they teach me more than I them. However, everyday I go into the class is a great remembrance of the impact Mrs. R had on my life. If I can impact one student with the power of Christ the way that Mrs. R impacted my life with the power of reading I will be complete in that.
The youth is under spiritual attack, however, Youth Core is coming to Borderland in August! I believe that we will see great works through that outreach and great blessings to supply after. If I can see come to pass promises I've held on to I will be greatly thankful!
I will be posting some new blogs very soon! I need my editor to read through them though. Since you all know how great of a speller I am. Praise God for his blessings church it is about time for a great revival!
We have had more baptised in 2008 than I ever expect, several filled with the Holy Ghost, and many to come! Get ready Borderland here comes the Holy Rollers taking over the city! I love you all in Christ and ask you to keep God First In All You Do!
Seeking His kingdom and righteousness!! Together we will do great things in Christ!
