My heart is in your palm...

In Psalms we find this:
1The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

I often speak of the heart and my heart, but is it the heart or the true place of the heart that matters. I believe that in every person there is something in there heart. We all see it on their face in their reactions to people. My shyness has been misunderstood for snobbery and my timidness as being abused. As creatures of Christ we have found ourselves in the battle of observations and in that comes our heart.

Fear of love I've written before and that of being loved. I believe that the condition of our heart is what allows us to love and be loved. As I read this scripture I was forced to realize that the eyes are not just the window of our soul, our hands are too.

I told someone once that they couldn't love me because their actions spoke louder than the words they spoke. I believe that the work of our hands are what connects us to the love we show to others. For example if you witness a elderly person walking across the street and they are having a hard time... Do you give them a hand or walk away? Love for people is an outward reaction to an inward action. Like we have a domino's affect in our body. We do though... it is a completeness that I believe Jesus speaks to us about. Let me explain...

We are told to worship our Lord with open hearts of adoration. A natural reaction to lift our hands in admiration of our King. Our hands are as the windows to our soul we reach towards the heavens and bow before the throne. God is tell us that we are doing and act that is from a reaction within. If this act is done from what we feel our hearts are made clean and pure. However, if we just do it because we know we should our actions are not from a reaction from within.

What am I trying to say you may ask?-- I'm saying that it is the reaction of our heart that proves in the labor of our hands. Hence the reason we are called to be servants of the Lord. A servant is a person who puts their hands to work in a way to please those he/she serves. It isn't about the work that is being done, but the place in which it came from.

If we call ourselves servants of God than we know that everything we do for God we do in a reaction to the way our hearts feel. Fear hinders our reaction, lack of faith hinders our reaction, jealousy hinders our reaction, all of these things come to an inward battle that cause others to know our heart.

Place your hearts out in your palms. It is that sacrifice that proves you are a true servant of Christ! His love was proven at Calvary which tells me that it's the act of love that makes our true hearts transparent.

Dreamers arise...

Genesis 37:17- 20 says "And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan. And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams."

Joseph a dreamer and worshiper of God he walked through life looking at each day as an opportunity to work towards having his dreams come true. Nothing but the power of Christ can prepare us for the work that is about to come. However, with Christ we will see prophesy transpire and dreams that have been passed on through generations come true. I ask as we enter into 2009 have you stopped dreaming?

When I was a little girl I could make a story book of two pictures into a long novel of a prince saving his princess. Now I'm not going to talk about the act of prince charming and love stories. I'm going to talking about the act of taking something so small and making it into something so big. Dreamers are a threat as they can see through the grim into a situation that brings light. They fight and don't give up on things they want to see happen.

God has given us the opportunity to make something so dull into something so beautiful and promising. I give you this challenge as we walk into 2009... dream. Start to place hope in the unsaved souls that walk around you. Dream dreams of 100,000 soul rivals in your city, Sunday school classes rooms bigger than college lecture halls, youth services every month with thousands of young souls saved at the alter, elderly people from nursing homes saved at the call of their savors name, the lame walking up in numbers unexplainable, sick being healed with decreasing numbers of cases in the hospital, whole cities coming to God, and revival taking over every country in the world. No one ever said that making dreams kept you down and hopeless. I look at Joesph a man who could have stopped dreaming of bigger things, but refused too. A dreamer can see promise and look at bad situations with a smile. SOME DAY! SOME DAY! I'll walk the streets of glory... is that not dreaming. Sure we are promised that, but we can't even imagine the beauty of Heaven. So why I ask can you dream of a place like heaven but can't dream of the work we've been called to do.

I heard this preached on a DVD the other night and the preacher said... Don't stop dreaming because you don't see it come to pass. Pass your dreams on to the next generation in hopes they may see it. A man doesn't start a church in hopes for it to die. No a man starts a church in hopes that his heart will transpire and God's work will be done. PASS ON YOUR DREAMS! Let them out live you!

I believe that in 2009 we are going to see dreams transpire and visions find life. I see the church looking at higher grounds of power. In this last night of 2008 I ask, are you going to stand up tonight and pray "God forgive me for forgetting about my dreams. Give me a dreamers heart that makes a journey for you. Let these shoes walk land that has never been walked. Let my hands do work that causes them to blister. Let my lips speak words only you can utter to the nations. Let my heart cry out with tears of joy, peace, and revelation. Let my work be done with an upward glance. I'm ready to take the road less traveled... I'm ready to break the bondage that keeps my dreams from happening"!

Don't let the dreamer be killed. Let him live! Live a dreamer, die a dreamer and let your dream live FOREVER!

Not Every Sorry...

The other day I saw a post on Instagram that was so powerful to me. The picture said "Not every sorry... should be responded with a &q...
